International Peace Ambassador

Ntumfor Barrister Nico Halle is once again in the spotlight. The International Association of Parliamentarians for Peace (IAPP) declared the renowned legal expert winner of the International Peace Ambassador Award for his indefatigable peace crusading efforts. For professional reasons and unaware of the surprise, Nico Halle was absent from the prize award ceremony that took place at the National Assembly on 28 March 2018. According to IAPP officials, the coveted distinction is in recognition of the Cameroonian’s role in promoting inter-State cooperation, peaceful cohabitation and dialogue, inter-denominational collaboration, universal moral values, and in enhancing proper functioning of the United Nations Organisation, among others. In an interview granted “Nyanga” Magazine, the award winner, who is also the Cameroon Bar General Assembly President and international elections observer said “I am humbled and thankful to God for such a huge acknowledgement of the undivided and undiluted efforts I have been making for more than 27 years for peace to reign in Cameroon, Africa and the World. Men are led by toys. When one is recognised universally it acts like an impetus, a veritable catalyst for more positive action…I will only rest when Peace finally returns to the North West and South West Regions of our dear country, Cameroon.” He dedicated the International Peace Ambassador Award to God, his darling wife Justine Halle, his children and to all law abiding Cameroonians. The award adds to five other international distinctions including two Honorary Doctorate Awards (Doctor Honoris Causa) he clinched in the past. Thumbs up to the peace crusader, Ntumfor Barrister Nico Halle.
